Portland General Purpose Cement 25Kg
Multicem Plastic Bag Cement 25Kg
Hanson Castle General Purpose Cement is used in general and major construction projects and in concrete product applications. It can be used in concretes, mortars, and grouts where chemical attack is not a predicted risk. Where concrete has a specific requirement for resistance to sulphate and chloride attack, Hanson Castle Special Purpose Cement is more appropriate.
Based on sustainable cement technology Grey in colour. Consistent strength meeting all the conformity criteria in BS EN 197-1. Compatible with admixtures such as air-entraining agents and workability aids. Can be used in most applications where CEM I Portland cement is used. Trial mixes are recommended to determine the optimum mix proportions.
General Purpose Cement can be used as a cementitious binder in a broad range of applications including: Concrete, Mortars, Renders, and Grouts. Where specific properties such as rapid setting or high early strength are required Hanson specialised cement should be considered.Hanson Castle Multicem is designed specially to give the ease of spreading and water retention necessary for mortars, entraining air and contributing to superior plastic properties in concrete and enhanced durability to frost in hardened mortar and concrete.
Hanson Castle Multicem is designed specially to give the ease of spreading and water retention necessary for mortars, entraining air and contributing to superior plastic properties in concrete and enhanced durability to frost in hardened mortar and concrete.
Incorporates a specially selected additive to entrain air. Offers improved workability. Enhanced durability to frost when hardened. A low CO2 cement. Declared Cr(VI) shelf life shown on bag. 25kg supplied in paper bag
Multicem is suitable for use in a wide range of concretes. It produces a smoother, more cohesive mix reducing the water required for a given workability, leading to lower risk of segregation and bleeding and resulting in a concrete which is more durable and has enhanced resistance to frost, greater ease of compaction and finishing assist in producing quality concrete. Multicem is suitable for use in mortars where its superior smoothness and air entrainment assist in achieving quality work with enhanced resistance to freezing and thawing. Multicem is also suitable for floor screeds where its properties of smoothness and cohesion will improve ease of placing and compaction and ensure an improved finish. Multicem can also be used in all types of renders where its qualities of a smoother mix and better water retention will be of particular benefit. Care should be taken to ensure that the surface to be rendered is clean and free from dust. Mixes for successive coats should neither be stronger nor thicker than the previous coat. Each coat should be allowed to cure for several days before a subsequent coat is applied.
